The Fat Snook is my favorite date night spot and though I am always tempted to get the catch of the day, I usually can’t resist the Poblano Pesto Shrimp with Pumpkin Cheddar Grits. You can’t visit the Space Coast without getting some fresh, local seafood. Recommended Order: A BuriBuriGood sushi roll with an Umami Mushroom appetizer You can even get traditional Japanese dishes for those not in the mood for raw fish and bento box deals at lunch. They always have a fantastic selection of different sashimi and the most creative specialty rolls I have seen. I am a huge sushi fanatic and have tried so many places in the area, that I can vouch for Umami being the best. Location: (Melbourne) 1437 Highland Ave, Melbourne, FL 32935 Recommended Order: A Muffuletta Pizza and some Wood Fired Shishito Peppers There is even a speakeasy attached for an after-dinner nightcap! If you are anywhere near the Eau Gallie Arts District, this is the ideal restaurant to check out. What started as a food truck is now a full fledge restaurant that makes the most flavorful wood fired pizzas and wings. If you like pizza, the best space coast restaurant to get it at is FM Pizza Oven. Location: (Cocoa Beach) 249 Minutemen Causeway, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 Recommended Order: A Sofrito Burrito Bowl with Ghost Pepper Salsa and a side of Sweet Plantains. Every day feels like a vacation when you are dining here. It is one of the most affordable spots on this list, with options like a sofrito burrito bowl or an island taco basket under $10. This is a Mexican Caribbean fusion counter service restaurant just steps from Cocoa Beach. #6 Tiny Turtleįor a cute beachy spot, Tiny Turtle is perfect for all ages. Whoops! Recommended Order: Vanessa’s Gyro with a side of Tabouli Cedar’s Café is a small spot, so you may want to make a reservation at night, but it’s worth it for such a fresh meal. It is described as a Lebanese restaurant, but they make all sorts of Mediterranean food, and even mushroom blended burgers. One of the most well-known places in the area is the James Beard Award Winning Restaurant, Cedar’s Cafe. Location: (Titusville) 1000 Cheney Hwy, Titusville, FL 32780 Recommended Order: Phanaeng Curry with Fried Chicken The Mexican Asian cuisine options are my favorite with so many tacos and bao buns to choose from.įor entrees from around $10, happy hour drink deals, and a relaxing atmosphere, Third Culture Kitchen is perfect for a casual and delicious meal. This is a fusion spot with all sorts of amazing creations. Up in Titusville, foodies have to visit Third Culture Kitchen.
